6th Filmsaaz

6th Filmsaaz was organised from 3-5 March, 2013 at the Kennedy Auditorium. Untill 5th edition it was a national short film festival but at the behest of the then secretary Mr. Arif Md Yeasin Jwadder the festival catapulated as international short film festival. Earlier film club was organising the festival as national short film festival having national and local categories. But, in the 6th Filmsaaz the local categories was all total abolsihed though resistance was there from within.
Thus from a very small beginning the festival became an international short film festival making a name for itself. Mr Nawazuddin Siddique was the chief guest of the festival who gave away the prizes to the winners of the festival.
