About Filmsaaz

Filmsaaz is an International Film Festival of Short Films & Documentaries for Non-feature films. First of its kind in India to be organized by a University. It was first held in 2008 in Aligarh Muslim University, organised by the University Film Club. This festival aims to crave out the hidden talent and inspire an urge among the young filmmakers. It is not just another film festival, but is a mission to bring up those to light who think beyond the conventionals. Likewise, this year too, 8th Filmsaaz-2015 would be held with all its charms, in the Kennedy Auditorium of the Aligarh Muslim University. Entries are thus invited under the various categories mentioned from all such budding filmmakers. Refer to the Registration section to download the form, and the Rules and Regulations section for further guidelines. Last date for reciept of entries: 28th February, 2015. NO late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
