A laywer by profession completed his law from Aligarh Muslim Univesity, Aligarh.

During college days and the anti corruption movement of 2011 across the nation, he joined the bandwagon of the movement. His first RTI application was in the year 2011 with the forest dept of his home town. His activism led to unearth some of the corruption at the university and enquiry. The then vice-chancellor instituted and inquiry committee after he produced documents related to corruption of the Coordinator of the Cultural Education Centre (formerly General Education Centre) in the university. The inquiry officer held the person guilty.

Being a film enthusiast he joined the film club of AMU and later on became the Secretary of the Club. During his tenure the film festival "Filmsaaz," which was organised nationally was made into an international short film festival. Now the Filmsaaz is international short film festival. Click here Filmsaaz for more details.

The most important achivement is the Eco-Club which he founded along with his friends and teachers of the university and became the founder secretary. He remained the secretary for 4 years until he left the university. Eco-Club is the only club of the university which has been founded by a student and which later on was co-opted by university under relevant section of the Statutes and approved by the President of India (President happens to be Visitor of the university). It is now a statutory body.

He also launched a news website during his college days which can be accessed here Batori.
